taiping, malaysia

hello(:

so im finally back from taiping, malaysia

went there to join in their celebration of kathina day

yeap, on whole, it was pretty new&interesting(:

didnt really do much since the actual event was actually only on sunday

so the days before that was up to us to decide on how we wanted to spent it

hahah

stayed in sasanarakka buddhist sanctuary(SBS)'s hall.

pretty amazing place since it was up on a TALL hill and within a forest!

cool huh!

so there was one day uncle poh led a few of us down to town to shop.

we walked for 2hours?! before we actually were able to find our shopping mall

gosh, so tired!

from the TOP of the hill(mountain) down to the FOOT then around the town.

alot of walking but i guess i enjoyed it,

under the rain too(:

food served there was fantastic!(:

our meals were provided by the volunteers of SBS

and they have absolute cooking skills!

and like we all know,

travelling around malaysia requires loooong hours in the buses.

yeap, so bus trip there was pretty boring with nothing to do.

but it became much better on the way back

because lucas bought DVDs and we managed to borrow one for our bus!(:

so for our trip back, everyone(or at least the kids) bought VCDs/DVDs!

hahahah, like a movie marathon!

there was transformers, next, ghost rider, norbit, coach carter, kicking and screaming, patch adams, 18 fingers of death and accepted.

out of these coach carter, kicking and screaming and patch adams is mine(:

on the second night at SBS, we didnt want to sleep so we started playing

and suddenly lucas spotted a toad outside the hall.

he went outside and PICKED IT UP WITH HIS BARE HANDS!

and he started trying to catch and play with it!

gross!

then melissa was like 'use the orange shoe to catch!'

i looked at her and said 'thats MINE!'

she replied 'yea, thats why use it mah!'

i was like screaming silently and jumping at the door

cause i didnt want to wake everyone else up

then suddenly sofia started crying

and the few of us playing quickly laid down on the floor to avoid being spotted

hahaha

had a gooood sleep that night at the attic(:

and thanks lucas for sacrficing your pillow!(:

hahaha

oh and the children on this trip is really fun and cute!
