LJ Muar :D

hello:D

was just back from LJ to Kampong Parit Bugis in Muar :D
its in Johore, the nearest out of 3 destinations, so we reached first :D
it seriously ROCKED ROCKED ROCKED :D
like totally :D
the trip was awesomeeee with those nice foster parents,
and CUTE CHILDREN! :D :D
i miss them so much already :D

*i know you wldn't be reading the following, it's just for my keeping sake (:

DAY1

so we left early from school and bus-ed to Tuas.
i was very much excited at first, thought it would be so-so and stuff.
but it turned out to be the absolute OPPOSITE :D
reached and crossed checkpoint and saw chelsea! :D
i knew i would see her, since she was leaving to malacca too :D
yea, sat bus and stopped at Yong Peng, saw her again :D
my friends already started shopping for snacks there. hahaha
they bought some food too, i just koped? heh ;D
bused and reached there quite quickly.
had some reception at the ketuah kampong's (chief's) house,
curry puffs and kuehs :D
was then assigned our houses and shujing got separated from us D:
carene, edna and taffy joined in though :D
yeap, was given some time to familiaraize ourselves with the family, house and have lunch (:
chose our rooms and i bunked with taffy, who abandoned me later D:
hahaha
anwy, played swing and the little children who were abit dao at first :0
had lunch then later drove back to the chief's house to leave for some activities
we squeezed into the car so that there's no need for 2 trips,
and so carene sat on my lap at the front ;D
she's so light lah! even lighter than garett :0
so we sat the farm vehicle to an oil palm plantation,
and it started to rain soon ):
so we stood in the shelter playing and stuff til the rain stopped.
went off to a small kueh bahulu factory, bought some back :D
cause they tasted gooood (:
back to our houses where i saw some family photo's of my family (:
and they were so nice to move the com out specially for us to get internet connection! :D
TERIMAH KASIH! :D

than back to the cheif's house again for a cultural night performance by the villages (:
they totally freaked some of us out halfway,
so the program afterwards was abit ruined :/
yea, stayed there til quite late to wait for the malaysian election candidate who wanted to visit us.
but was too late so left first.
and the performance kinda made alot of rearrangements to our house assigning,
so taffy left us and we five ended up bunking together :D
hahaha
chatted with mama and papa for awhile before going to sleep.
and carene was hilarious before sleeping :D

hahahah! it totally made my night! :D
nice one carene! :D



DAY2
woke up quite late and washed up to have breakfast :D
the mee hoon goreng and fried rice was awesome! :D
and the tea was heavenly! :D
went to assemble than off to the Town of Muar ,
for a river cruise and batik painting.
then went for food shopping at a local biscuit shop.
me and ariel literally ran around the whole shop tasting EVERYTHING,
but i didn't buy anything :/
ariel bought her yu LOL
yea, than we ran back to the nice ones to get more :D
and felicia spent til she could almost buy back the whole shop LOL
back to the village, stopping by the pineapple and coffee cottage industries,
than the chief's house for ketupat and basket weaving :D
i learnt okay! they're kinda awesome! :D
then back to our houses where we played with the children and cards :D
had dinner than watched alvin and the chipmunks together with the children! :D
talked to our mama for a while before beding (:


DAY3
woke up even later and mama gave us our goodbye presents.
had farewell ceremony at the chief's house which i almost felt like crying ):
pictured then left ):
somehow, it seemed that Yong Peng seemed much nearer on our way back!
Lol stopped by there for a break
than to JUSCO for SHOPPING! :D
we were given 3hrs to shop and eat! AWESOME! :D
had secret recipe and arcaded with charmaine, divya, jolene :D
later shujing and jorina joined us :D
it was totally fun fun fun and absolutely funny! hahah
esp during the soccer match!
SHUJING LIKE OWN GOAL-ED TWICE! HAHAHA!
yea, back to the bus and played all the way back.
bus journey was hilarious :D
divya and charmaine was totally making us laugh hard! :D
hahaha
then reached school and left for tuition :/


reflections?
so the trip was really enjoyable and great,
i love the experience (:
the family's were really hospitable and nice.
they don't scold and are really patient, warm and caring.
was great, loved it, absolutely :D
and the houses weren't that bad but big and spacious!
the area was quiet, peaceful and villagy. heh :D
the whole trip was awesome! :D :D :D

it was enjoyable and i'd hope to come back again to visit them! :D
