I'm a new soul, I came to this strange world

'There's something about OBS that stays with you for life';

Even if the timing was so absolutely wrong, even if we had to turn from predator to prey, even if we had to endure through bathless nights, even if we had to carry bags then were double our size and weight, we did, ultimately, enjoyed it, sorta, huh. (:

From the minute we arrived, team bonding had began. It was cool how we managed to pick up with each other so quickly, how there wasn't much barriers to breach since the beginning. But it was absolutely good to know how we felt good, hopeful and positive towards the group, the course. So what's been accomplished was going through the full Land and Sea Expedition: Trekking from Camp 2 to JLK to Chek Jawa and back to Camp1, kayaking from Camp 1 to Camp 2 clockwise, pitching, unpitching, packing, unpacking, cooking, washing up, belaying, encouraging, walking, complaining, grumbling, stoning. But I guess what goes beyond all these is that we managed to know something more about each other, we managed to be flexible, accommodating and accepting each other for who we are, we managed to showcase each of our strengths, know more about ourselves, and most of all, prove to ourselves that we are usually better than who we are, pushing ourselves to the limit. Pretty amazing how we can look back and realize that we really managed to survive in the end, because at each moment, I really thought I couldn't survive.

You guys were awesome, simply awesome. Thank you for all your time, efforts and best (:
And thank you all NJCians too, thanks for giving the kind of support and spur for each other, even if we weren't from the same groups. Those hugs were good (:

Fulfilling 5 days, definitely.

Sometimes you just have to turn a blind eye.
