IMUNC 2010 has ended.

My feelings? I just began to miss SMUN more than ever.

IMUN had a different feeling altogether. But I can't totally blame them either too I guess, since, my knowledge of MUNs is no long theory-neutral and would always somehow be clouded with pre-information, expectations and experience. But I guess, on the whole, it was pretty fun, I must admit; though I felt that I couldn't really click with the peeps in my comm, but I tried, and after seeing Darren able to do it, guess I was able to lighten up a little? But thanks Jamaica, thanks for the chats, the help and the support. Great to know you from SMUN up til I's, totally. Comm sessions and in-betweens wouldn't have been so much more enjoyable had it not been for you. :)

But I guess, all in all, what was the most important, was that I was able to take away something from this conference(s). Apart from the very technical takeaways, such as writing a resolution, submitting amendments (both friendly and unfriendly), actively debating over issues etc, guess I got some little epiphanies as well, like how I've really gotta speak up, no matter whether I'm talking sense or not, or that I should pull down the expectations a little and change my perception, and last but not least and most importantly, made new and really nice friends. (:

Wished I could have stayed on for concert night to mingle with the rest of the NJCians a little more and longer, as well as the other delegates and chairs of UNSC and Jamaica and Bosnia & Herzegovina!! hahaha. But oh wells, guess fate just doesn't allow me eh. D: Hopefully our level's bond can be strengthened through such events and all, and we'll be able to reform the IP village spirit, bringing it up to a whole new level, with the addition of integration. :)

Oh and JS, thanks for all the support and such during the entire course of the conference as well. Though I didn't get to talk to you much these 3 days, thanks for looking-out for me and helping me whenever possible. All the best to you in your final year! (:

Oh! And last but not least, TimNeo! hahaha, it was quite funny seeing him at his home-ground! If only SMUN could resume eh? haha Quite a cool band he had anwy. :D
