Closing a chapter, and opening another

Which until you really try it, can really be a pain in the butt. Fulfilling the dream as an educator which isn't as satisfying as i thought it'd be - for the reason that the kind of disappointment granted after an unsatisfying lesson can really make me bleed. Horrid experience today which i wish to never have to repeat ever ever again. But the irony lies in how one is able to bring you up and other throw you down so low again and again. Nevertheless, still thankful for the girls :) Which therein lies the beauty of the profession. But still contemplating whether to sign on or not. To think i thought i'd finally end my 12 years of education here. haha school just never leaves one completely, doesn't it. 

Still, falling in love with history all over again. Even entertaining the thought of asking to take over the entire cohort for the subject! hahaha nonsense. But teaching it sure does its job of rekindling that neglected flame for the one subject i have always felt something special for. 

Now is just about thinking long and hard, day in and out, about what area is it I want to further my studies in and what exactly I want to do in the future. Travel, food, explorations, organisation all sound so damn good. But so does developing, educating, moulding. So how now? Just how far should i journey? 

In any case, (last) Friday was a day (night) well spent with the lovelies. Steamboat TuanYuanFan with the 05 family brought so much joy and satisfaction despite the really hectic day prog :')

And now entering the 5th academic week of the new year, and have so far been meeting up with my nj homies at least once every week. So so blessed to always have them around :)

Anyway, the favourite festival of the year is coming up!! Whoop whoop! Can't wait to make the yearly visits with lotsa awesome fooood! :D
